Summary of Upward Revision of Earnings Guidance

Dai-ichi Hokuetsu Financial Group, Inc. has upwardly revised its consolidated earnings guidance for the full fiscal year ending March 2026. Ordinary income is expected to increase by 16.8% from 52,300 million yen to 61,100 million yen, and net income attributable to owners of the parent is expected to rise 16.9% from 36,000 million yen to 42,100 million yen. This revision is primarily driven by strong non-interest income centered on corporate service income and increased interest income resulting from loan growth. The earnings of Dai-ichi Hokuetsu Bank (non-consolidated) have also been revised upward accordingly.

Revision of Dividend Forecast and Shareholder Return Policy

Based on the upward revision of full-year earnings guidance, the year-end dividend forecast has been increased from 27 yen to 36 yen per share, with a projected dividend payout ratio of 40.0%. Regarding shareholder return policy, the company aims to continue stable shareholder returns while strengthening its earnings base, with a basic policy to increase dividends progressively. Share buybacks will be executed flexibly considering earnings performance and market conditions, and efforts will be made to enhance return on equity (ROE).
