Announcement on the Implementation of the Special Life Challenge for Voluntary Retirement

Kose Holdings is pursuing structural transformation to support growth as part of Vision for Lifelong Beauty Partner – Milestone2030. We have decided to add the voluntary retirement program “Special Life Challenge” for our consolidated subsidiaries KOSE and KOSE Cosmetics Sales. Targeted at management and general staff with more than five years of service, including re-employed employees, totaling about 80 people. In addition to retirement allowances, a supplementary severance payment will be provided, and up to one year of re-employment support will be offered.

Looking ahead, the supplementary severance payments related to this program are scheduled to be recognized as a extraordinary loss in the fiscal year ending December 2026. The number of applicants and breakdown are not yet determined, and the impact on results will be disclosed as soon as it is confirmed. The program applies to KOSE Co., Ltd. and KOSE Cosmetics Sales Co., Ltd.; eligible participants are those with more than five years of service and meeting criteria. Application period is September 1–15, 2026; retirement date is January 31, 2027; total participants about 80; as benefits, retirement allowances plus supplementary severance payments and re-employment support are provided.
