Project Overview

Environmental Friendly Holdings has entered into a basic agreement with European AI cloud service provider Verda Cloud regarding the Phase I of the Tomakomai AI Data Center (supply capacity of 10MW). This grants priority negotiating rights for the final contract, marking a significant step toward actual demand formation with an overseas operator. The project aims to meet the increasing demand for high-performance computing utilizing GPUs, leveraging the cool climate and stable power supply to develop infrastructure. Going forward, the company intends to expand supply capacity, grow its domestic and international customer base, and promote the commercialization of its AI infrastructure business.

Future Outlook and Strategies

This MOU is a basic agreement; key terms such as utilization fees and contract duration remain undecided. The final contract is aimed to be concluded within 1 to 1.5 months from the effective date, with a potential 30-day extension if negotiations continue. According to the reference estimate, the annual colocation utilization fee for Phase I is projected at approximately 2.4 to 2.5 billion yen. The company plans to continue discussions with domestic and international demanders, aiming to expand its AI infrastructure business and enhance corporate value.
