In FY2025, operating profit reached ¥231.2 billion (up 9.1% YoY), marking two consecutive years of record highs, with net income attributable to owners of the parent increasing to ¥158.8 billion (up 17.6% YoY). Progress in transforming the business portfolio, especially in the pharmaceuticals and electronics segments, contributed to the growth of 'focused growth' businesses. Net sales increased to ¥3.745 trillion (up 1.2% YoY). The annual dividend was raised to ¥42 (an increase of ¥4).

FY2026 Outlook and Business Strategy

For FY2026, operating profit is projected to be ¥248.0 billion (up 7.3% YoY), and net income attributable to owners of the parent is forecasted at ¥160.0 billion (up 0.8% YoY). The company aims to sustain three consecutive years of record high earnings primarily through focus growth businesses. Although the impact of geopolitical tensions in the Middle East is not reflected in the FY2026 forecast, the risk of significant profit deterioration is limited. The company will continue to monitor and respond to supply chain risks in its operations. As growth investments, active capital allocation will be made toward pharmaceuticals, electronics, overseas housing, and energy & infrastructure, promoting structural transformation. The company also plans to continue share buybacks totaling ¥40 billion.
