Overview of Executive Changes

GUNZE has tentatively approved the transfer of the representative director at the board of directors scheduled to be held on May 14, 2026. The new representative director is expected to be Mr. Takahiro Oka, who previously was appointed as a director in 2024 and has served as General Manager of the Management Strategy Department and as an Executive Managing Officer. The purpose of the personnel change is to strengthen the promotion of the medium-term management plan under the new management structure. Additionally, Ms. Kimiko Funato is expected to be newly appointed as a part-time outside director candidate, while the planned departure is Ms. Hiroe Nakai. Changes to executive officers were also announced.

Future Schedule and Corporate Strategy

The formal appointment of executives is scheduled to be decided after the shareholders' meeting on June 25, 2026, and preparations to promote the medium-term management plan under the new structure are expected to proceed.
