Overview of the Board Effectiveness Evaluation

This report discloses the results for the June 2026 period of the self-evaluation of the board's effectiveness, conducted since 2019. The target includes all directors and all corporate auditors, with responses collected via an anonymous questionnaire. Evaluation items cover five areas: composition, governance and information provision, strategy and management oversight, committee/external directors' environment, and future challenges. Overall, evaluations are high.

2026 June Evaluation Results and Improvement Points

Results remained highly rated as in the previous period, with particular praise for attendance of department heads who draft proposals, direct answering of questions, pre-notification and distribution of materials for the next agenda, and simplification of summaries. The use of offsite meetings deepens long-term issues, contributing to leadership development, rapid execution, thorough pre-reading-based discussions, and deeper strategic debate.
