Overview of Personnel Changes

Chugoku Electric Power Co., Inc. plans to decide on personnel changes for representative directors, directors, and executive officers with titles at the 102nd Annual General Meeting of Shareholders to be held on June 25, 2026, and the subsequent Board of Directors meeting. Mr. Shigeru Ashiya is scheduled to assume the position of Representative Director and Chairman, while the incumbent Mr. Kengo Nakagawa will continue as Representative Director, President, and Executive Officer. Mr. Kyosuke Minamoto is scheduled to be appointed as Executive Vice President and Executive Officer. Additionally, there will be several appointments, promotions, and resignations among directors and executive officers with titles.

Mr. Tatsuo Kitano, Representative Director and Executive Vice President, will resign and assume the role of advisor. Mr. Yoshihiro Watanabe and Ms. Nobuko Kobayashi will be newly appointed as Audit and Supervisory Committee Members. In the executive officers category, Mr. Hideyuki Mimura will be promoted to Executive Vice President and Executive Officer, and Mr. Wataru Taniura, Mr. Katsuya Morino, Mr. Kenji Okanari, Mr. Kazunori Takami, and Mr. Hiroyuki Kouw will newly assume positions as Managing Executive Officers or Executive Officers.
