Trends in Sales, Customer Count, and Average Spend

In January 2026, total sales on an all-store basis were 101.2% year-over-year, and 99.2% at same stores, indicating sales exceeded the previous year overall but slightly declined at same stores. Customer count was 97.7% for all stores and 102.6% for same stores, showing a decline in total customer visits but an increase in same stores. Average spend was maintained at a high level with 104.6% for all stores and 99.2% at same stores. Store Count Trends and New/Openings and Closures

As of January 2026, there were 647 domestic stores including 153 franchise stores, and 14 overseas locations. New openings included Ringer Hut Lalaport Izumi store (Izumi City, Osaka Prefecture) on January 12, Hamakatsu Fukuoka Nogata store (Nogata City, Fukuoka Prefecture) on January 18, and Hamakatsu Iwataya Main Store (Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture) on January 31.
