Overview of Performance

Revenue for this quarter was 8,380,100,000 yen, up 11.6% YoY; operating income was 743,100,000 yen, up 15.3% YoY; ordinary income was 856,000,000 yen, up 34.9% YoY, achieving a substantial increase in profits. By segment, most categories within high-performance materials, environmental materials, and food materials showed higher sales and profits, maintaining solid overall performance. The financial position shows total assets of 37,093 million yen and an equity ratio of 63.0%, with net assets of 23,351 million yen, indicating a stable financial position. No change to the full-year guidance announced at the start of the period.

Outlook and Shareholder Return

Regarding the full-year outlook, while uncertainties remain due to future market conditions and raw material price movements, we will continue to execute growth strategies supported by solid quarterly demand. The dividend projection is kept unchanged for now, and the timing of the year-end dividend has not been disclosed. Financially, we will maintain a high equity ratio and strive to secure stable cash flow. Going forward, we aim to target growth areas such as data centers, AI servers, and the semiconductor-related market, promoting higher value-adding and differentiation of products.
