Sales Overview

Total company sales for January 2026 reached 116.3% year-over-year, while retail plus online existing store sales came in at 114.0%. Strong sale performance, combined with steady demand for early spring products, business casual items, and fashion accessories, drove this growth. The fact that there was one more holiday compared to the same month last year is estimated to have contributed approximately 1.5 percentage points positively to existing store sales. Note that preliminary figures do not reflect impacts from the change in revenue recognition standards; the finalized figures are expected to decline by a few points.

Store Count and Definition of Existing Stores

As of the end of January 2026, the total number of stores amounted to 313, including 226 retail stores, 55 online stores, and 32 outlet stores. Existing stores refer to those operating for at least 13 months and open in the same month of the previous year. For January, existing store counts were 179 retail stores and 52 online stores. In retail, three stores were closed, while there were no openings or closures for online or outlet stores.
