Overview of Fiscal Year 2025 Performance

Net sales for fiscal year 2025 reached a record high of 1,830.9 billion yen. Although high-frequency modules for smartphones and resin multilayer substrates declined, growth in server capacitors contributed positively. Operating income rose 0.8% year-over-year to 281.8 billion yen, offsetting price reductions, fixed cost increases, and one-time expenses with higher production volume, operational leverage, and cost reductions. Net income attributable to owners of the parent was flat at 233.9 billion yen. ROIC decreased by 0.3 points to 9.7%.

Fiscal Year 2026 Earnings Guidance and Shareholder Returns

For fiscal year 2026, net sales are projected at 1,960 billion yen, a 7.1% increase YoY, and operating income at 380 billion yen, up 34.8% YoY. Capital expenditures are planned at 250 billion yen, including an additional 80 billion yen to meet robust demand for server capacitors. Shareholder returns include an increased annual dividend of 70 yen per share (up 5 yen YoY) and execution of a share buyback program with a record-high limit of 150 billion yen.
