Nihon Seiko Co., Ltd. manufactures and sells antimony products and metal powders in Japan, rest of Asia, and internationally. It offers antimony trioxide, which is used as a flame-retardant additive for various plastic material and polyester polymerization catalysts. The company also provides antimony metal for use in raw materials for semiconductors, film for optical memory disk, or thermo-electron converter, as well as for storage batteries, bearing metals, hard lead castings, cables sheathing, type metals, and sheet and pipe alloys; antimony metal powder for glass fining agents and alloys; and antimony metal shots for alloys. In addition, it offers special treatment antimony trioxide; sodium antimonate for use in engineering plastics, and defoaming agent and decolorizing agent for high-grade glass, such as optical glass; antimony trisulfide for use in friction material in brake pads and brake shoes; and antimony pentasulfide used for surface treatment of decorative trims and building materials. Further, the company provides antimony trichloride and antimony pentachloride for use as catalysts in fluorination, chlorination, and bromination of organic compounds, pigments, and semiconductor materials; tin sulfides used as a solid lubricant; SULMICS-121, a black powder composed of tin sulfides and graphite, which is used as a solid lubricant in automotive brake pads and related applications; and STEM series for poly-olefin plastics, such as PP and PE. Additionally, it offers metal powder products, including copper, soft magnetic alloy, copper alloy metal, and silver powder that are used as parts materials in various fields comprising automobiles, information equipment, industrial equipment, and electrical appliances. The company was formerly known as Nakase Kogyo Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Nihon Seiko Co., Ltd. in 1936. Nihon Seiko Co., Ltd. was incorporated in 1935 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
