At the Board of Directors meeting held on April 30, 2026, NGK Insulators, Ltd. resolved to change its Representative Director. Mr. Jun Mori, currently Executive Director and Senior Managing Executive Officer, is scheduled to be appointed as the new Representative Director and Executive Vice President. His appointment will take place following the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders convened on June 29, 2026, and subsequent selection at the Board meeting. The reason for this change is to respond to changes in the business environment and to pursue further development of the company.

Career and Shareholding of Jun Mori

Jun Mori was born on April 26, 1964, in Aichi Prefecture. He graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Nagoya University, Faculty of Engineering, in March 1988 and joined the company in April of the same year. Since then, he has served as Executive Officer, Managing Executive Officer, Senior Managing Executive Officer, and Director Senior Managing Executive Officer, and is scheduled to assume the position of Representative Director and Executive Vice President in June 2026. He holds 22,590 shares.
