Overview of Management Plan 2030

Eiken Chemical has formulated a new management plan, 'Management Plan 2030,' covering fiscal years from 2026 to 2030. This plan revises the previous 'EIKEN ROAD MAP 2030' and the second medium-term management plan (fiscal years ending 2026 to 2028), aiming to balance feasibility and growth potential. The plan sets targets of over 50 billion yen in sales, over 7 billion yen in operating income, an operating profit margin of over 14%, a ROE of over 10%, and an overseas sales ratio of over 35%. It maintains the existing business areas and strategic direction, and will ensure the achievement of annual targets while continuously reviewing the plan each term.

Key Strategies and Capital Policy

Key strategies include strengthening profitability in domestic businesses, accelerating growth in overseas businesses, and pursuing discontinuous growth through alliances and M&A. In particular, the Americas will drive overseas growth, with market development also underway in EMEA and APAC regions. The company has already decided and begun implementing measures to optimize its product portfolio and address low-margin products by FY2025. Regarding capital policy, based on operating cash flow, the company will make strategic investments to strengthen technological capabilities, while aiming for a total shareholder return ratio of over 50%. Capital expenditures will support continuous growth, focusing on routine maintenance and updates.
