Establishment and Purpose of the Responsibility Investigation Committee

Air Water Inc. decided on June 19, 2026, at the Board of Directors and Audit & Supervisory Board meetings to establish a Responsibility Investigation Committee. This committee aims to investigate, with the assistance of external experts, the involvement and responsibility of stakeholders concerning inappropriate accounting procedures and to determine the existence of legal liability. The investigation covers the period from fiscal year 2020 through the second quarter of 2025, and is to be conducted by a committee composed of external lawyers. Based on the investigation results, necessary legal measures will be considered.

Composition and Scope of the Investigation

The committee will be chaired by lawyer Yasuyuki Nakai, with lawyers Toru Muranaka and Masahiro Maeda serving as members. The investigation subjects are individuals who served as directors or auditors from fiscal year 2020 through the second quarter of 2025. Investigated parties and committee members have no conflicts of interest. The results of the investigation will be carefully examined to assess legal liability and involvement levels, forming a basis for appropriate response measures.
