Background of the Trade Name Change

Fujibo Holdings, Inc. has been engaged in the spinning industry for over 130 years since its founding in 1896, but in recent years has been advancing structural reforms in the everyday apparel business and focusing management resources on the abrasive materials business and chemical products business. Consequently, the consolidated sales ratio of the everyday apparel business is expected to decline significantly from 61% in fiscal 2006 to 15% in fiscal 2025. Reflecting these changes in business structure, it was resolved to change the trade name from the Kanji notation "富士紡ホールディングス" to the Katakana notation "フジボウホールディングス."

Future Schedule and Impact

The trade name change is subject to approval of a partial amendment to the Articles of Incorporation at the Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders scheduled for late June 2026, with the planned effective date of October 1, 2026. Disclosure regarding the partial amendment of the Articles of Incorporation will be made after the board of directors' resolution.
