Overview of Business Performance

For the consolidated cumulative first quarter, net sales were 139,329 million yen, up 8.6% year on year; operating income was 9,905 million yen, up 29.6%; and ordinary income was 10,587 million yen, up 27.5%. Orders were 194,116 million yen, up 13.2% year on year.
