Overview of Officer Changes

Shimizu Corporation announced a change to the information regarding the change of Representative Director, Directors, and Executive Officers announced on 2026-03-06, following a decision made at the Board of Directors meeting held on 2026-05-12. The new director candidates are scheduled to assume office after the Ordinary General Shareholders Meeting in late June 2026, namely Mitsuo Moroi and Mitsuhiro Yamaguchi. Additionally, the appointment duties of executive officers have been partially revised: Mr. Moroi will be responsible for the Green Energy Business, Sustainability, DX Management Promotion, and Innovation; Ms. Mika Kaneko will oversee the Environmental Management Promotion Office, Human Resources, DE&I (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion), and the GREEN×EXPO2027 Project Office.

Future Plans and Structure

The appointment of Directors will be officially confirmed following approval at the Ordinary General Shareholders Meeting scheduled for late June 2026. A list of Directors after the change has also been provided, with Kazuyuki Inoue continuing as Chairman and Tatsuya Shinmura continuing as President and Representative Director. The changes in the Board of Directors and executive officers aim to strengthen managerial oversight and review the delegated duties to promote business initiatives.
