Notice regarding business partnership with Napil (Partnership aimed at building an energy platform centered on EMS)

Purpose and content of the partnership

Our group regards expanding the energy business as a growth strategy, positioning the construction of an energy platform that integrates cloud infrastructure, remote control, operations, and maintenance around EMS as a core initiative. Through the business partnership with Napil, we aim to develop an integrated SI service offering from battery installation to operation and market trading. The partnership outlines three pillars: (1) deployment of a platform centered on a jointly developed high-voltage EMS, (2) comprehensive offering combining design, construction, and sales functions with EMS and cloud technologies, and (3) joint development of low-voltage and home EMS.

Outlook and mid- to long-term prospects

This partnership commenced after the board meeting on August 17, 2026, contract signing, and partnership start. In the short term, the impact on the fiscal year ending March 2027 is considered minor, while revenue resilience is strengthened through expansion of EMS-enabled battery projects, advancement of SI capabilities, and deployment of solutions to external operators. We will establish a structure to create recurring revenue from equipment sales, post-implementation use, and operation support as we expand the energy platform business.
