Following the report from the Expert Committee established on July 1, 2025, the East Japan Railway Group has formulated and commenced implementation of specific improvement measures including the establishment of a code of conduct and the development of a compliance promotion system to strengthen governance.

East Japan Railway Company will make its consolidated subsidiary, JR Chuo Line Community Design Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary through a share exchange, with the effective date scheduled for March 17, 2026.

In the company split scheduled for April 1, 2026, the rental business was added to the real estate securitization business, increasing net sales from JPY 4,519 million to JPY 7,232 million and expanding assets from JPY 7,181 million to JPY 12,195 million.

Consolidated revenue for the third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 increased 5.4% year-over-year to 2.24 trillion yen, operating income declined 0.8% to 349.6 billion yen, and net income attributable to owners of the parent increased 1.3% to 219.4 billion yen.

For the fiscal year ending December 2025, operating revenue was 2.24 trillion yen (YoY 105.4%), operating income was 349.6 billion yen (YoY 99.2%), and net income attributable to owners of parent for the quarter was 219.4 billion yen (YoY 101.3%).
