In addition, the company owns and operates a theme park; provides non-life insurance services, focusing on overseas travel insurance; and develops and operates room reservation systems and related businesses. Further, it engages in facility management; machinery installation and maintenance; and infrastructure projects, such as construction and construction of new buildings. The company was formerly known as International Tours Co., Ltd. and changed its name to H.I.S. Co., Ltd. in 1990. H.I.S. Co., Ltd. was incorporated in 1980 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
