For the fiscal year ending March 2026, Matsui Securities Co., Ltd. achieved significant revenue and profit growth with operating revenue of 52.7 billion yen (34% YoY increase), ordinary income of 23.8 billion yen (56% YoY increase), and net income attributable to owners of parent of 15.5 billion yen (47% YoY increase). Commission fees received totaled 26.0 billion yen (30% YoY increase), and financial income and expenses amounted to 17.3 billion yen (29% YoY increase), while trading gains expanded by 55% to 5,819 million yen. Although selling, general and administrative expenses increased to 25.6 billion yen (19% YoY increase), the operating revenue to ordinary income ratio remained high at 45%.

Financial Soundness and Dividend Policy

The capital adequacy ratio secured a sufficient level at 307%, and margin transaction balances are on an increasing trend. The dividend policy plans an annual dividend of 50 yen for the fiscal year ending March 2026, comprising an interim dividend of 25 yen and a year-end dividend of 25 yen, aiming for a payout ratio exceeding 70%. From the fiscal year ending March 2027, the company has clarified its commitment to maintain a payout ratio of 60% or higher and a dividend on equity (DOE) rate of 8% or higher. Despite increased interest expenses due to rising interest rates, investment income has grown, resulting in expanded net income.
