Status of Treasury Stock Acquisition

Mizuho Financial Group, Inc. acquired 7,885,800 shares of common stock through market purchase under a trust arrangement from March 1 to March 11, 2026, with a total acquisition cost of 50,935,886,300 yen. As a result, the treasury stock acquisition based on board resolutions dated November 14, 2025, and February 2, 2026, has been completed.
