This represents an increase from the prior interim dividend of 5 yen, and the company also indicated a policy target of retaining internal reserves approximately three times the annual total dividend amount as dividend reserve funds.

Outlook for Fiscal Year Ending March 2027 and Dividend Policy

The outlook for the interim period of the fiscal year ending March 2027 is solid, with sales and overall profit expected to reach record highs. In view of this, the interim dividend for the period is expected to be 6 yen, with a year-end dividend of 14 yen, yielding a full-year dividend structure of 8 yen/6 yen/14 yen. The impact of supply-chain and procurement cost factors is considered limited, and strengthened procurement capabilities through alternative sourcing are interpreted as contributing to profit improvement.
