For this interim period, consolidated results were supported by growth in Health & Wellness, Developer & Entertainment, and ASEAN, with revenue rising 13.8% year-over-year to 5,904.1 billion yen and operating income increasing 10.7% year-over-year to 130.7 billion yen, both reaching record highs. By segment, Health & Wellness, Developer & Entertainment, and International operations led performance. Outlook and Strategy

The full-year forecast is maintained, targeting revenue exceeding 12 trillion yen and operating income exceeding 340.0 billion yen. Based on first-half results, the company will decisively implement profitability reforms in food retail and improve profitability in the second half through cost reductions and strengthened sales strategies. As part of business structure reforms, the company will resolve loss-making businesses and improve capital efficiency. The company will continue optimizing resource allocation and expanding overseas business profitability, including in ASEAN.
