In February 2026, AEON's major consolidated companies’ monthly sales, despite large temperature fluctuations, surpassed previous year’s results for existing store sales for the second consecutive month through sales initiatives that accurately captured demand for new lifestyle-related and seasonal event products. Especially, the food segment achieved 42 consecutive months of year-over-year growth by broadly capturing event demand around Setsubun and Valentine’s Day. Topvalu conducted an online voting campaign, the "Topvalu Awards 2026," to strengthen product appeal.

Segment Trends and Future Outlook

AEON Retail Co., Ltd. experienced some impact from snowfall, but grocery, deli, seafood, meat, and specialty store "Café Rante" performed well. Health & Beauty Care also exceeded the previous year for two consecutive months. The supermarket business saw strong deli sales driven by increased demand for ready-to-eat meals, achieving six consecutive months of year-over-year growth.
