In fiscal year 2025, sales reached 2,662.6 billion yen (up 4% YoY), operating income was 58.4 billion yen (down 5% YoY), ordinary income was 52.2 billion yen (down 13% YoY), and net income attributable to owners of parent was 38.2 billion yen (down 16% YoY). The ordinary income achievement rate against the full-year forecast of 55 billion yen was 95%. Global steel handled volume increased to 14.33 million tons (up 6% YoY).

2026 Business Outlook and Shareholder Returns

For fiscal 2026, sales are projected to be 3 trillion yen (up 13% YoY), and ordinary income is expected to be 57 billion yen (up 9% YoY). Segment-wise, steel is expected to decline, but profits are planned to increase in food, energy, and living materials. Regarding shareholder returns, the annual dividend for FY 2025 will be increased by 8 yen from 50 yen to 58 yen, and for FY 2026, a dividend of 66 yen is forecasted. Additionally, a share buyback of 50 billion yen is planned, which includes the 7,525,500 shares repurchased in FY 2025, with cancellation scheduled for January 29, 2027.
