Notice Regarding Differences Between Full-Year Consolidated Earnings Forecast and Actual Results

Overview of Performance

The full-year consolidated results for the fiscal year ending March 2026 recorded net sales of 677,919 million yen, operating income of 18,715 million yen, ordinary income of 20,840 million yen, and net income attributable to owners of parent of 16,026 million yen, all exceeding the previously announced forecast. Operating income increased mainly due to higher sales and profit improvement activities in the Japan segment, and ordinary income and below also surpassed forecasts due to foreign exchange gains.

Reasons for Differences

The increase in operating income was primarily driven by higher sales and profit improvement initiatives in the Japan segment exceeding expectations. The increases in ordinary income and net income are attributed not only to the rise in operating income but also to foreign exchange gains booked on foreign currency-denominated assets due to yen depreciation.
