Net sales reached JPY 55,909 million (YoY +2.8%), falling short of the plan. The Aero Energy business maintained strong results in Europe for OEM compressors, while the Coating business saw increase in sales of painting equipment in China, Japan, and India. Other businesses experienced losses due to upfront investments in new ventures and expanded EC sales. Operating income was JPY 5,563 million (YoY -5.8%) due to increased selling, general, and administrative expenses. Ordinary income was JPY 7,718 million (YoY +8.1%), and net income attributable to owners of the parent was JPY 5,356 million (YoY +25.2%), reflecting overall profit growth.

Outlook for Fiscal Year Ending March 2027 and Shareholder Returns

For the fiscal year ending March 2027, sales are forecasted at JPY 60,000 million (YoY +7.3%), with increased sales expected from Japanese and Indian compressors, and European and U.S. painting equipment. Operating income is projected at JPY 5,200 million, with a decrease primarily due to rising selling, general, and administrative expenses and one-time costs. The annual dividend is planned at 87 yen, an increase of 4 yen from the initial forecast, with a yield of 7.0%. Share repurchases of JPY 3 billion to JPY 3.5 billion are scheduled, starting May 13, 2026, with an upper limit of JPY 1.5 billion.
