Overview of Treasury Stock Acquisition

Based on the board resolution dated November 5, 2025, the Company carried out the acquisition of treasury stock pursuant to the provisions of Article 459, Paragraph 1 of the Companies Act. During the period from April 1 to April 30, 2026, the Company acquired 545,800 ordinary shares at an acquisition price of 354,504,800 yen. As a result, the cumulative number of shares acquired reached 2,451,300 shares with a total acquisition price of 1,799,989,100 yen, and the acquisition period concluded on April 30, 2026. The acquisition method was market purchase on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

Changes in Major Shareholders and Future Outlook

As a result of the treasury stock acquisition, the ratio of voting rights held by shareholders against the total voting rights relatively increased, raising the voting rights ratio of the major shareholder, Itochu Corporation, from 9.93% to 10.00%. The effective date of this change is scheduled for May 7, 2026, and the Company states there is no impact on its business performance. Itochu Corporation remains the largest major shareholder.
