Overview of Performance

Operating income for the fiscal year ending March 2026 was 38.5 billion yen, and EBITDA was 121.6 billion yen, with operating income surpassing earnings guidance. Although new construction demand in Japan declined by over 10% year-over-year, growth in renovation sales resulted in year-on-year profit growth across all segments. Overseas operations saw flat revenues, but a shift to high value-added products in Europe and the IMEA region significantly improved operating income. In the U.S. market, structural reform effects led to operating income turning positive in March alone.

Comparison with Earnings Guidance and Future Outlook

Operating income exceeded earnings guidance. While other income and expenses as well as financial expenses increased, the decrease in tax expenses resulted in net income landing in line with guidance. For the fiscal year ending March 2027, full-year earnings guidance expects revenue of 1,600 billion yen, operating income of 45 billion yen, and net income of 12 billion yen. An annual dividend of 90 yen per share is planned. Although the impact of Middle East geopolitical conditions is difficult to factor in, the company anticipates benefits from the U.S. structural reforms and a recovery in the European housing market.
