Differences in Performance and Causes

The differences between the consolidated earnings forecasts and actual results for the second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2027 are as follows: net sales progressed according to plan, but interim net income attributable to owners of parent exceeded the previous forecast because the gain on redemption of investment trusts was recorded as a special gain under gain on sales of investment securities. As a result, operating income and ordinary income also exceeded forecast. Conversely, net sales were slightly revised downward by -286 million yen. There is no change to the consolidated full-year earnings forecast.
