Mitsui Kinzoku Company, Limited, together with its subsidiaries, manufactures and sells functional engineered and electronic materials in Japan, China, India, Asia, North America, and internationally. It operates through four segments: Functional Materials Business, Metals Business, Automotive Parts Business, and Other Businesses. The company offers copper foil with carrier film, resin-coated copper foil, electro-deposited copper foil, and material of capacitors; catalysts; tin and zinc oxide, copper, silver, and solder powders, as well as power metallurgy; hydrogen storage alloy and lithium manganese oxide; tantalumu, niobium oxides, and carbides, as well as cerium oxide abrasives; oxides/rare earth compounds, metal products, and rare earth salts/ceramics; alumina and silicon carbide refractories, fine ceramics, and metalofilter; sputtering targets; engineered liquids; debondable glass carrier materials; and negative thermal expansion materials and LNMO cathodes. It also provides zinc and zinc base alloys; chemical products; lead, tin, bismuth, and antimony trioxide; gold and silver ingots and powders, concentrated and fuming sulfuric acid, and electric copper, copper ingots, and wire rods; and mineral and geothermal resources, as well as mineral resources development and environmental protection engineering services. In addition, the company engages in corrosion prevention; engineering; mechatronics; perlite; information technology systems; and rolled copper businesses. Further, it is involved in nonferrous metal smelting; precious metal recycling; raw material related businesses; and manufacturing and sale of automotive parts/components. The company was formerly known as Mitsui Mining & Smelting Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Mitsui Kinzoku Company, Limited in October 2025. Mitsui Kinzoku Company, Limited was incorporated in 1950 and is headquartered in Shinagawa, Japan.
