The Godo Steel Group, in its Medium-Term Vision 2030 starting fiscal 2026, aims to restore profitability and improve financial strength by focusing on growth investments, human capital development, and sustainability promotion, under the premise of a shrinking steel material market and declining working-age population. As a leader in the resource recycling industry, the Group pursues harmony among people, technology, and the natural environment, striving to enhance customer satisfaction and stabilize quality.

Specific Initiatives and Management Indicators

Growth investments will focus on enhancing the quality of wire rod and structural steel, improving production efficiency of rebar, and expanding the use of organic fertilizers in agricultural materials, while continuing to consider M&A opportunities. Human capital investments include targets of a female workforce ratio above 10% and promotion of employment of persons with disabilities. Sustainability efforts involve launching the non-fossil fuel steel brand "GODO Green" and promoting energy-saving equipment investments. Financially, the D/E ratio will be lowered to below 0.4, with a capital investment plan of 40 billion yen over five years. The dividend policy is to maintain a consolidated payout ratio around 30% and set a minimum annual dividend of 100 yen.
