Overview of performance

For the consolidated fiscal first quarter, net sales totaled 17,034 million yen, achieving a substantial year-over-year increase of 123.1%. Operating income reached 2,204 million yen, ordinary income 2,192 million yen, and net income attributable to owners of the parent for the quarter was 1,486 million yen, all significantly exceeding the previous year and marking a record-high level of performance. By segment, Creative Japan remained solid with net sales of 10,564 million yen, Healthcare 2,239 million yen, CRES 1,745 million yen, with expansion investments continuing in other businesses.

Outlook and dividends

Consolidated earnings outlook for the February 2027 term and dividend guidance have been revised upward, reflecting solid progress in Creative (Japan) and Healthcare segments, and also considering the Takahashi Publishing Group, which became a consolidated subsidiary in March 2025, as on track. An upward revision to the full-year forecast has been issued. Note that the revised dividend guidance is included in the public materials, so shareholder returns will continue to be a focus.
