Toabo Corporation, together with its subsidiaries, manufactures and sells textiles in Japan and internationally. It operates through five segments: Clothing, Interior and Industrial Materials, Electronics, Fine Chemicals, and Real Estate. The company offers Italian-style knit yarn under the SPIRITO brand; textile products; corporate and school uniforms; and automotive interior materials, polypropylene fiber, nonwoven fabrics, and tufted carpet. It also produces and sells thyristors and triacs, semiconductor, electronic, and mechanical components; microbubble cleaners, anti-virus equipment using deep UV LEDs, and filters that use photocatalysts; and reducer products. In addition, the company is involved in the manufacture and sale of chemical substances related to smartphones, automobiles, printing, and pharmaceuticals; development of commercial facilities comprising grocery, drug store, and shopping centers; and operation of an office building and golf driving range driving schools. Further, it manufactures and sells feed and fertilizer ingredients; engages in aquaculture business; provides technical guidance; offers health and beauty products, and skin care products, such as the Futaamine series, health foods, cosmetics, and more to pharmacies, drug stores, and other outlets; and operates a French pastry shop. The company was founded in 1922 and is headquartered in Osaka, Japan.
