Overview of Performance

Shikibo Ltd. has revised its consolidated earnings guidance for the second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2027. While revenue is expected to decline versus the previous guidance, operating income, ordinary income, and net income attributable to owners of parent for the interim period are each expected to be substantially revised upward. Increased orders for composite material parts in the Functional Materials segment and the impact of business transfers from the Unitika Group in the Textiles segment are cited as factors boosting profits. The full-year guidance remains unchanged, although segment-level revisions have been implemented. Interim and year-end dividend forecasts remain the same as the announcement published on May 14, 2026.

Segment Impacts and Outlook

By segment, increased orders in Functional Materials and contributions from Textiles, Industrial Materials, Real Estate & Services have driven interim profit upside. There is no change to the full-year guidance, but outlooks may fluctuate depending on future conditions. At present, the dividend forecast will continue to follow the previously announced figures, and no major changes to dividend policy have been reported.
