Overview of Financial Performance

Consolidated results for the fiscal year ending February 2026 showed net sales of 87,057 million yen (YoY increase of 104.4%), operating income of 1,532 million yen (YoY increase of 180.3%), ordinary income of 1,527 million yen (YoY increase of 167.7%), and net income attributable to owners of the parent of 446 million yen, achieving a turnaround from a loss in the previous period. Although sales increased, the operating profit margin remained low at 1.8%. The equity ratio was 31.9%, a decline of 3.6 percentage points from the previous term. Capital expenditures decreased to 2,116 million yen year over year, primarily due to reduced store facility investments. Conversely, digital investments aimed at improving productivity increased.

Number of Stores, Inventory Turnover Ratio, and Business Environment

The number of stores at the end of the term was 1,355, up by 15 stores compared to the previous term end. There were 17 store openings and 42 store closures, progressing against the full-year plan of 100 openings and 30 closures. The inventory turnover ratio improved to 6.44, up 0.28 from the previous term, indicating progress in optimizing product inventory. Regarding the business environment, saving-conscious consumer behavior, increased same-store sales, and rising demand for going out were positive factors. Negative factors included difficulties in securing personnel, raw material cost increases due to inflation, and weather risks such as heavy rain.
