Revised Executive Officer System and Personnel Changes Announced | June 24, 2026

Overview of System Revisions

Tokyu Construction will revise its executive officer system in conjunction with the transition to a company with a nominating committee, audit committee, and compensation committee, to enhance the effectiveness of corporate governance and improve operational agility and efficiency. The introduction of a delegated-type executive officer (corporate officer) system and changes to the classification of employment-type executive officers will clearly separate management decision-making and supervision functions from business execution functions. Appointment and dismissal will be decided by the Board of Directors after deliberation by the Nomination and Compensation Committee, with a term of one year.

Personnel Changes and Changes in Responsibilities

Effective July 1, 2026, the responsibilities of the Representative Directors will be changed from Management Strategy, Digital, D&I to Value Creation and Safety & Environment, with Tomoya Masuda serving as Vice President and Executive Officer responsible for value creation promotion and safety & environment. The responsibilities of the Directors will also be reviewed, including a change in responsibilities for Hiroshi Akada, who will now oversee the International Business, along with responsibilities for the Construction Business Headquarters and Real Estate Business. Executive Officers will also be reassigned through personnel changes, with newly appointed Senior Executive Officers and Managing Executive Officers taking charge of the Construction, Real Estate, and International Business divisions.
