Overview of results

This quarter's net sales reached 40,582 million yen, up 3.6% YoY. Operating income was 2,072 million yen, up 11.5%; ordinary income 2,244 million yen, up 10.1%; and net income attributable to owners of parent 1,438 million yen, up 7.2%, all surpassing prior year records. Strong rental sales in Healthy Living Services and higher prescription unit prices in Pharmacy Services improved overall profitability. The newly acquired subsidiary QLC Produce was consolidated, expanding home rehabilitation services nationwide. In the phase of growth investment under the medium-term plan, the company will strengthen expansion into home healthcare and preventive care domains.

Outlook and key matters

Full-year earnings guidance remains based on the forecast disclosed for the fiscal year ending March 2027. As the second year of the medium-term plan, we expect to expand services contributing to a society of long and healthy living and to realize benefits from the integration of new businesses. The consolidation of QLC Produce is treated as of September 30, 2026 as the acquisition date, expanding to 206 stores nationwide and about 3.2 billion yen in annual sales. Going forward, we will continue to develop new services in the home and preventive care sectors and expand the store network.
