Overview of Performance

Operating revenue for the fiscal year ending March 2026 was JPY 422.4 billion (YoY +3.6%), primarily driven by an increase in passenger transport income. Operating expenses were JPY 332.8 billion (YoY +3.7%), affected by rises in expenses and personnel costs; however, operating income improved to JPY 89.5 billion (YoY +3.0%). Net income attributable to owners of parent amounted to JPY 59.0 billion (YoY +9.8%), with one-time factors such as gains from pension plan revisions also contributing. All profit indicators exceeded consolidated earnings guidance.

Segment Results and Passenger Volume Trends

In the transportation segment, passenger transport income remained strong, resulting in operating revenue of JPY 386.6 billion (YoY +3.8%) and operating income of JPY 76.1 billion (YoY +2.7%). Passenger volume was approximately 2.571 million (YoY +3.0%), increasing in both commuter and non-commuter categories. The real estate business reported operating revenue of JPY 14.7 billion (YoY +0.2%) and operating income of JPY 4.3 billion (YoY +4.7%), aided by reduced expenses from property sales. The Life and Business Services segment posted operating revenue of JPY 26.4 billion (YoY +2.5%) and operating income of JPY 8.5 billion (YoY +3.2%), achieving revenue and profit growth.
