Overview of Executive Personnel Changes

Shinko Shoji Co., Ltd. announced that Mr. Yuji Mihara will be appointed as Representative Director at the 108th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders scheduled for late June 2026. Correspondingly, the current Representative Director, Mr. Satoru Nishimura, will retire and assume the position of corporate advisor. Additionally, effective April 1, 2026, changes and new appointments will be implemented to executive officers’ duties to strengthen the management structure. The new framework aims to respond swiftly to environmental changes and accelerate group growth.

Executive Team and Future Outlook

The newly appointed Representative Director, Mr. Yuji Mihara, born in 1967, joined Kobe Steel, Ltd. and accrued extensive experience in the steel business division for many years. Since April 2025, he has served as Managing Executive Officer in charge of the Steel Unit at our company. Under the new structure, there will be multiple promotions and new appointments to Senior Executive Officers and Managing Executive Officers, aiming to enhance organizational agility and expertise. This is expected to stabilize management and strengthen business execution capability.
