Overview of Performance

In the third quarter of FY2026, revenue grew to ¥78,120 million (YoY +3.7%), operating income to ¥3,319 million (+52.2%), quarterly income before taxes to ¥4,678 million (+91.6%), and net income attributable to owners of parent to ¥2,873 million (+77.7%), driven by increased sales of motorcycle instruments in the ASEAN and India regions. While automotive instruments saw a decline due to challenges in China and reduced HUD sales in North America, growth in motorcycle instruments contributed positively. Foreign exchange gains also boosted profit.

Segment and Regional Trends and Full-year Outlook

Automotive instruments recorded a revenue decline of 5.8% YoY, with an operating loss reduced to ¥905 million. Motorcycle instruments performed strongly with revenue up 27.5% and operating income increasing by 45.5%. Consumer parts, resin compounds, and automobile sales experienced declines in both revenue and profits. Regionally, Japan posted revenue growth of 0.7% and operating income surged 262.7%. The Americas saw revenue up 0.5% and operating income up 23.5%. Europe had revenue growth of 4.4%, but operating losses widened. Asia showed strong growth with revenue up 8.1% and operating income increasing 47.3%. There was no revision to the full-year forecasts, expecting revenue of ¥320,000 million, operating income of ¥11,300 million, and net income attributable to owners of parent of ¥8,000 million.
