Notice Regarding Formulation of Medium-Term Management Plan

Overview

This document primarily announces Nippon Sharyo, Ltd.'s formulated medium-term management plan "Next Stage 2030." It sets numerical targets of consolidated net sales of 130 billion yen and operating income of 15 billion yen for fiscal year 2030, positioning expansion of revenue opportunities and strengthening of the management foundation as the two pillars. Measures to strengthen execution that underpin growth include reinforcing competitiveness in the Shinkansen and construction machinery businesses, overseas expansion, development of value-added products, and creation of new services using DX.

Growth Strategy and Execution Capability

Next Stage 2030 centers on "expanding revenue opportunities" and "strengthening the management foundation," and is built on five pillars: (1) strengthening competitively advantaged businesses, (2) expanding into overseas markets, (3) developing high value-added products, (4) launching new DX-enabled services, and (5) expanding into growth areas leveraging core strengths. Specific initiatives include strengthening manufacturing capabilities for Shinkansen and construction machinery, overseas expansion to markets such as Taiwan Shinkansen and Jakarta, introduction of hybrid vehicles and autonomous driving technologies, DX-based maintenance services, and expansion into aerospace and defense sectors.
