Kensetsu Gijutsu Kenkyusho Co., Ltd. conducted a treasury stock acquisition pursuant to the resolution of the Board of Directors on November 12, 2025, based on Article 165, Paragraph 3 of the Companies Act. The acquisition period was from February 1 to February 25, 2026. During this period, the Company purchased 159,600 shares through market transactions on the Tokyo Stock Exchange at a total acquisition price of 525,453,591 yen. As a result, the treasury stock acquisition under the said resolution has been completed.

Impact on Shareholders and Cumulative Acquisition Status

The initial Board resolution stipulated an acquisition limit of 700,000 shares, a maximum acquisition price of 1.5 billion yen, and an acquisition period from November 13, 2025, to April 30, 2026. As of February 25, 2026, the cumulative number of shares acquired was 485,400 shares, with a total acquisition price of 1,499,845,877 yen, representing approximately 69% of the acquisition limit. The acquired shares correspond to about 2.5% of the total issued shares, expected to enhance capital efficiency as part of shareholder returns.
