It also provides network surveillance camera lenses, FA and machine vision lenses, teleconferencing lenses, and camera modules. In addition, the company offers automotive camera and drone lenses, medical devices, various optical device units, and lenses for compact digital cameras and video cameras. The company was formerly known as Taisei Optical Equipment Manufacturing Inc. and changed its name to Tamron Co.,Ltd. in April 1970. Tamron Co.,Ltd. was incorporated in 1948 and is headquartered in Saitama, Japan.
