Performance Overview

In the consolidated cumulative third quarter period of FY2026, net sales increased 15.7% YoY to JPY 253.183 billion, operating income rose 126.2% YoY to JPY 31.116 billion, and ordinary income increased 86.4% YoY to JPY 35.953 billion. Meanwhile, net income attributable to owners of parent for the quarter declined 27.9% YoY to JPY 25.383 billion, mainly due to a reduction in equity gains from the sale of affiliated company shares. By segment, the Marine Propulsion Systems business saw net sales up 11.0% and operating income up 113.4%, while the Logistics Systems business posted a 10.5% increase in net sales and a 144.4% increase in operating income, both performing strongly. The Growth Business Promotion segment also showed steady progress with net sales up 13.1% and operating income up 33.9%.

Outlook and Dividends

The full-year consolidated earnings guidance for FY2026 has been revised upward for operating income, ordinary income, and net income attributable to owners of parent, forecasting operating income of JPY 35.0 billion (16.7% increase from previous forecast), ordinary income of JPY 40.0 billion (29.0% increase), and net income of JPY 31.0 billion (19.2% increase). Net sales forecast remains unchanged at JPY 340.0 billion. The dividend forecast has also been revised, with interim dividend of JPY 15 per share, year-end dividend of JPY 35 per share, and an annual total of JPY 50 per share expected. The assumed foreign exchange rate has been updated to JPY 150 per USD.
