Sony Group Corporation resolved at its board of directors meeting on February 5, 2026, to partially revise the treasury stock acquisition limit set by the resolution on November 11, 2025. Specifically, the upper limit of the number of shares that can be acquired was increased from 35 million shares (0.59% of the total number of issued shares) to 55 million shares (0.92%), and the total acquisition amount was raised from 100 billion yen to 150 billion yen. The acquisition period is from November 12, 2025, to May 14, 2026, and the acquisition method is planned to be market purchases based on discretionary trading agreements on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
