The company offers automotive components, such as steering, drive line components, and transmission components; bearings; machine tools, such as grinders, matching centers, and gear skiving/gear cutting machines; programmable logic controllers, including motion controllers; IoE solutions; industrial heat treatment equipment, compressors, assembly and inspection machines, electronic test instruments and equipment, maintenance equipment, and metal-bonded wheel forming machines. In addition, it provides tools comprising dressers, vitrified BN and diamond wheels, metal and resin wheels, PCD and PCBN, and electroplated wheels; displays consisting of IoE, monitors, electronic counters, digital tachometers and timers, programmable displays, HMI software, and panel computers; bevel, worm, and cylindrical gears; component parts, such as oil seals, shafts, and precision mechanical equipment; sensors, including IoE, water level meter, rotary encoders, and proximity sensors; and storage devices comprising lithium-ion capacitors. The company operates in Japan, North America, Europe, Asia, Oceania, South America, and internationally. JTEKT Corporation was founded in 1921 and is headquartered in Kariya, Japan.
