Initiatives for Capital Allocation and Corporate Value Enhancement

Seibu Holdings has established the Capital Allocation Review Committee as one of the pillars of its next medium-term management plan (fiscal years 2027–2029) to strengthen capital allocation mindful of capital costs and profitability. The committee acts as an advisory body to the Board of Directors, primarily composed of outside directors and external experts, to discuss capital discipline and strategies for optimizing the business portfolio across the entire group, and reports its deliberations to the Board. The goal is to maximize per-share NAV growth rate and achieve long-term corporate value enhancement.

Committee Composition and Role

The committee is chaired by outside director Masafumi Tsujiwara, and includes external experts Nobuyoshi Hattori and Jun Tada, who collaborate with internal directors to review capital discipline and resource allocation. Topics cover real estate, hotel and leisure, urban transportation, and major real estate value-up strategies. The committee’s recommendations are submitted to the Board of Directors. The establishment date is July 31, 2026.
